COME AND SEE

Discover Jesus through an informal series of small group discussions. We are reading and discussing selections from the Gospel of Mark, one of the first century accounts of Jesus.
Every Thursday evening, the final session being held on Nov 5.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for dinner at 6pm.
The program itself will begin at 6:45. You will be welcomed by Nathaniel Jackson, who will give a brief introductory talk about something from the Gospel of Mark.
The main event each evening will be small group discussion. We will break up into groups of perhaps 5–7 people, and we will discuss one particular passage from the Gospel of Mark. Your group leader will be asking questions that guide the group through the passage, asking about the text's meaning both in its original context and its implications for today.
We will finish by 8pm. Each week, at the end of the night we will give you a small card titled "Dig Deeper." This will provide prompts that will guide you in engaging on your own with another passage from the Gospel of Mark.
You can find the week-by-week schedule of readings from Mark here.

These meetings will be held in our Fellowship Hall. When you arrive, go to the farther entrance (the smaller entryway, with a canvas awning).
There is no need to bring anything. You may bring a Bible if you like, but we will be providing booklets that contain the full text of the Gospel of Mark.
