COVID-19 Worship Service Update:
The Elders, after much deliberation, and in light of NYS governmental directives, have suspended our weekly gathering at St. Vincent DePaul's parish center until further notice. During this time the leadership will be offering a weekly 10:00 am Sunday worship service via the internet, using Zoom to stream to your desktop or mobile phone. Please contact for any questions or concerns the deacons can assist you with!
The link for the Sunday Service is https://zoom.us/j/876042258. Feel free to pass it on to others who would like to join. (A few minutes before the service starts, simply click the link on your mobile phone, tablet or computer, and it will open up the window automatically. You will see controls for video and audio once there.)
Mark your calendar and save the date for our annual summer (yes!) picnic at Jamesville Beach: June 20.
The Mid-Winter Retreat is just around the corner: March 7 from 9:30am to 1:30pm, at New Testament Baptist Church. Our speaker John Yelverton (SU CRU) will talk about ministering to college-age students (discipleship & evangelism). Please pray, bring your questions, and something to contribute to our lunch.
Jeremy Jackson, one of three founding pastors of Trinity Fellowship, passed away on Thursday, January 16 at home in Syracuse. His obituary can be found on our Beginnings page.
Welcome to 2020! Mark your calendars for our Annual Day of Prayer and Fasting on January 15, meeting at the Lukes. This is an occasion we have continued ever since our church started in 1978. Email for more information.
Caroling and Cookies:
Mark your calendars and tune your outdoor singing voices for neighborhood caroling! On December 15, we will meet outside the Park’s house (600 Allen Street) at 3:00 in the afternoon to receive instructions and pray. The Park’s will host a time of fellowship afterward. Please bring a snack to share (and slippers so you can remove shoes upon entering; thanks!)
Christmas Cookies and Conversation will be held at the Bernadine Apartments, in the 11th floor community room, on Saturday morning, December 7, at 9:30. There will be carol singing as well! This will be a scaled down version of Christmases past, but servers, singers, and cookies are welcomed! Please contact the Carpenters with any questions.
Trinity’s annual Thanksgiving Fellowship dinners will be November 17-23. These are times to gather in small groups at people’s homes to share a meal (not necessarily a full-fledged turkey dinner) and give thanks. The host plans the meal and the guests help by bringing a side dish, etc., as requested. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
